tcmts.examples.geometry
geometry
Two npm packages in one codebase, with a history of releases: geo, a geometry library, and atlas, a command
built on it (atlas 0,0 3,4 is the length of a route). Each is a namespace with a manifest.
The history was made step by step by the example's setup.sh:
- geo 1.0.0 and atlas 1.0.0: their first releases, declared stable, each with a summary; tcm wrote the rest of their notes.
- geo 1.1.0: perimeters, and rounded distances (a new definition and an optional parameter). Those are additions, so tcm made it a minor release by itself. atlas 1.1.0 uses them.
- geo 2.0.0: hexagons, a contribution proposed on a branch, commented on and merged through a hub. A new case
of
Shapeis breaking, so it's a major release, and its notes name the contribution. - What's next: an unreleased change to geo, waiting for its release (2.1.0: more additions).
Releases has each package's versions and their notes, written from what changed in its API. History has each step.
